AOGC - Aladdin Oil & Gas Company ASA - Successfull gas test on well 1A on the Middle Sedoylskaya
A stabilised flowrate has been established from the gasbearing reservoir on well 1A: 2,100,000 million cubic feet of gas per day (377 o.e. per day) . Measured flowing bottom hole pressure was 60 atm, and the pressure drop during flow was less than 10%, which is considered very good. In this test only a 9mm choke was used.

The well has now been cased and cemented, and on 6th May the first drillstem test was done.

The well has now been cased and cemented, and on 6th May the first drillstem test was done. Already after opening the choke a very small amount, significant quantities of gas flowed from the wellhead, and the well flowed an estimated rate in the region of 1 million CFGPD.

Update Ukhta activities
OCG's second well; 3A, was drilled to a total depth of 405 m, in basement rocks. The expected reservoirs were encountered slightly deeper than prognosed, and analyses of logs and open-hole tests show that the reservoirs did not contain hydrocarbons in any quantities. The rig used for drilling of 3A has now been moved to the location of well 1A for further testing of the gas discovery made in that well

AOGS is pleased to announce that the recently announced issue of 650 bonds with warrants attached was successfully closed yesterday. The issue, which was managed by Fondsfinans ASA, was oversubscribed.

(Oslo, April 10th, 2007) Aladdin Oil & Gas Company AS - AOGC - Discovery on prospect 1A, Middle Sedo
GT has completed the drilling of Well A on Prospect 1 on the MS License. Total Depth was in Basement rocks, near 750 meters. Following logging of the well, several interesting zones were identified, one of which has been tested; tested interval was at 660-681 meters and demonstrated a significant gas discovery.
