At the ordinary shareholders’ meeting on 9th May, it was decided that Aladdin Oil & Gas Company AS is converted from AS to ASA.
This was done as in the future the company may need to acquire capital through public placements. The company believes that the flexibility that exists in using such financial instruments – which are only available to ASA companies (“almennaksjeselskaper”) – will be of interest to the company.
Also, by doing this, the foundation for a future possible listing on the stock exchange has been laid.
