At the Extraordinary General Meeting of Aladdin held at Rolfsbuktveien 17 on 29th of August 2014, all the resolutions proposed were passed unanimously.

The Company is pleased to announce that Lady Olga Maitland and Mr Claude Gueant were elected as new members of the Board of Directors. 

At the same time, we would like to thank Guzel Mouksinova for her services to the Company following her resignation today from the Board. 

Mr Victor Okoh has also resigned from the Board of Directors, to take up a position as a part of the executive management of the Company to work on the transaction outlined above. 

Lady Olga Maitland has had a distinguished political carrier. During her time as a Conservative MP at Westminster, Lady Olga Maitland was a member of the Parliamentary Select Committees for Education, Health and Procedures, Northern Ireland, Defense & Foreign Affairs. In 1996–97 she served as the Parliamentary Private Secretary to Sir John Wheeler, then Minister of State for Northern Ireland at the Northern Ireland Office. She is also the current Chairperson of the London Oil Club. 

Our other new board member, Mr Claude Guéant, was born in Vimy, France. He is a respected politician in France and has held many different offices in government, including Chief of Staff to Nicolas Sarkozy. Mr Claude Guéant has also served as Minister of the Interior during the Sarkozy government. 

Mr Claude Guéant is a member of the conservative Union for a Popular Movement (UPM). He studied law in Paris and later entered Sciences-Po. Afterwards he also achieved a degree from ENA Administration School, Thomas Moore. 

Trading in the ordinary shares in Aladdin (AOGC), is expected to recommence as normal at 09:00 on Monday 1st of September 2014.
