(Oslo, 1st of July 2008). Aladdin Oil & Gas Company ASA has carried out the first part of the test of the upper zone on the gas well 1C on the MS license in Timan-Pechora.

The interval 659m – 665m has been tested on 6 and 8 mm chokes and the results are as follows:

6 mm choke: Rate = 26,000 m3/day, P tubing = 53 atm, P annulus = 59 atm, P differential = 3 atm.

8 mm choke: Rate = 49,000 m3/day, P tubing = 51 atm, P annulus = 58 atm, P differential = 6 atm,

11mm choke: Rate = 86,000 m3/day , P tubing = 49 atm, P annulus = 55 atm, P differential = 10 atm

During the autumn both intervals will be tested at the same time to get a better understanding of the production potential of the well. So far the pressure regime is in line with well 1A and the pressure drop during testing the upper zone seems promising.

Expected production potential when producing from both zones is: 100.000 m3/day.
