Aladdin Oil & Gas Company ASA has appointed Pål Nedrelid as its new managing director. He will take up the post on 1 June.

Pål Nedrelid (48) is both an engineer (marine technology) and a chartered engineer (petroleum technology), having studied at Texas A&M, College Station, Texas. Until now, Pål Nedrelid has been the managing director of NLI Asker Subsea, a company that develops and manufactures subsea equipment for the global oil and gas industry.

Pål Nedrelid also has 12 years’ experience from RWE-Dea Norge AS, where he worked in the Drilling and Production section and was responsible for, among other things, licence follow-up in connection with producing fields and fields under development. Pål Nedrelid also has long and wide-ranging experience of reservoir simulation, business development and project work.
